| Requirements/ Instructions: | REQUIREMENTS: Mac Intel 10.5.x (if you have iTools 9x installed, the script will automatically detected this and prompt you with the correct custom default paths). Once you have downloaded the WebDNA installer, follow the instructions below to get started. Note, this installer is a compressed directory that contains the installation shell script. We opt for this method of installation (as apposed to a GUI package) because it allows a Mac administrator to install WebDNA remotely as well as locally and offers the most versatility for our customers. If you do not have shell script experience and need assistance, please contact support@webdna.us. INSTRUCTIONS: 1.) Download the .zip file, uncompress it, and read the "readme_first.txt" file: *** Note, on some installers, the "readme_first.txt" file can also be called "Readme_MacTel.txt" *** (if you do not have either of those files, you should re-download the product as you may have an older installer) If installing remotely, you have options: -- a. Download the .zip file to your local machine, uncompress the zip file, and read the initial readme_first.txt document. Then FTP (SCP etc.) the WebDNA-MacTel-6.2.tar.gz file to your server and complete the installation per the readme_first.txt instructions. -- b. Log in remotely to your server and download the file directly to your server using your remote browser.
