| Requirements/ Instructions: | REQUIREMENTS: Apache2.2 This installers supports the following distros: (note: included are 'manual' instructions if installing on unsupported distros) Both i386 and x86_64 architectures for Ubuntu 7.x and 8.x, Fedora 10x, and OpenSUSE 11.1x, CentOS 5.2x, and RHEL5x. Download the installer to your server however you see fit. For example: sudo su cd /tmp wget http://dev.webdna.us/products/WebDNA-Linux-6.2.tar.gz (then start at step# 3 below under "TO INSTALL") Then, follow the instructions below to get started. Note, this installer is a compressed directory that contains an installation shell script. Please contact support@webdna.us if assistance is needed. TO INSTALL (using Terminal (shell) App): ** Skip to #3 if file is already in /tmp ** 1.) Download the installer file and get it to your server: (hint: if installing remotely, you have options... 1) DL to your local machine, then FTP (SCP etc.) the file to you server.. or 2.) log in remotely to your server and DL the file directly to your server using lynx,wget or other means) 2.) Once the file is at your server, move the package to /tmp (if not already there) for installation purposes: 'cd' (change directory) to the file's location (cd /tmp), then do: sudo mv WebDNA-Linux-6.2.tar.gz /tmp/ 3.) uncompress the file. tar -xzf WebDNA-Linux-6.2.tar.gz 4.) 'cd' into the directory that was created and list the contents. cd WebDNA-6.2 ls -al 5.) read the 'README' file carefully for the installation instructions. less README Thank you for using WebDNA!
